Our Center’s philosophy is developmentally oriented and based on the understanding that individual children have different styles, interests, and rates of learning. We do not stress one specific type of development because we want to foster growth of the whole child, physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
Children’s play is the most important vehicle of early learning. We try to provide an environment that will best facilitate play by offering interesting material presented in an inviting way. Teachers provide guidance to help children feel comfortable in their environment so that they are able to explore and expand their own interests. Teacher planned activities supplement and enrich these interests. Each room’s program is designed to help children develop language skills, social skills, physical strength and coordination, and the building of a positive self image – a sense of worth. By offering this wide range of opportunities in a warm caring atmosphere, we hope to assist you in providing a positive early education for your child.
